Announcing the arrival of our new mobile app, and a sparkling new website!
PinkAprons is transforming, shedding its old skin, and getting ready to unleash into the new dimension.. And trust me, I am equally excited, and scared.
When we launched PinkAprons app and website in May, 2020, they were based on a SaaS product and it performed well. Really, well.

But customizations were difficult, changes took weeks, months, because it wasn’t under our control. Adding/deleting features was a big headache, and it stopped innovations, and dare-devil experiments to understand and gauge our audience, measure the impact of our digital marketing initiatives and prevented ourselves from looking beyond the status quo.
Now, we are growing and expanding, and we need a super-powerful, flexible and scalable platform that supports our velocity and passion. And help us to see the horizon, and beyond.
We commissioned the creation of a new mobile app and website to an experienced team of programmers and designers, and we started this journey of transition around six months back (after burning our hands with unethical organizations, more on this later!)
Excited to state that we are on-course to make our new app and website live in the next few weeks, powered with the next-gen and user-friendly features we imagined and polished with a new Zen-type UI that inspires more engagement, easy discovery, and seamless ordering of lip-smacking homemade food!
Learned a lot of lessons, decoded tons of myths, and invested figures in 6-digits to create something new and thrilling, that our esteemed customers and home chefs deserve and need.
Our vision with PinkAprons is not just big, but massive.. It goes beyond motivating 1 million home chefs and customers, but creating something which triggers a revolution, creates a new world and impacts billions of foodies, all across the world.
With this new app and website, we are taking the next step, and crossing another milestone.
